The Centres will have a thematic focus on issues of contemporary relevance and will work in a project mode. The Centres can also develop courses which may be configured as part of the academic programmes of the various Schools of AUD. Among the Centres that AUD is considering to establish are: a Centre for Leadership and Change, a Centre for Early Childhood Education and Development, a Centre for Equality and Social Justice, a Centre for Engaged Spiritualities and Peace Building and a Centre for Social Applications of Mathematics.
